Beech Tree Lodge is in Willington, in Derbyshire. It's on the marina, part of a quiet gated community. It's a detached lodge.
It sleeps five people. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it's one on each side of the living area. Both bedrooms have an en-suite. One has a king size bed and a roll-top bath. The other has a double bed and a single bed, with a shower room. Both have big walk-in wardrobe spaces too. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is open plan. There are patio doors that open onto your own veranda. You get a good view over a quiet grassy area towards the marina. You see a lot of birds. Inside, there's a smart TV and broadband. You can use your own Netflix or Disney accounts if you log in.
It's a short walk to the marina boardwalk. There are a few shops and a bar/restaurant there. The owners leave a cool bag and picnic set you can use. There's also a park area nearby with picnic benches.
For days out, you're in a good spot. The Peak District is close. Bakewell and Ashbourne are market towns you can drive to. There are several National Trust houses nearby: Calke Abbey, Kedleston Hall, and Sudbury Hall are all within about ten miles. Chatsworth is a bit further. The National Memorial Arboretum is just down the road towards Burton. The Peak District website is useful for planning.
Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
