This is Repton Cottage in Foremark. It's a small brick cottage, one of three. They're all Grade II listed, from about 1752. It used to be part of the Foremark Hall estate.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. The ceilings are a bit low in places. There's a wood burning stove in the living room.
The cottage looks out over fields towards Foremark Hall, the big house next door. You get a small garden with a patio. It's peaceful.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the National Forest. You can walk through the estate grounds. The pub and a village shop are about a mile away in Ingleby.
Repton village is close, a couple of minutes by car. It's got an old school and a notable church. For a day out, Calke Abbey is about ten minutes drive. Melbourne Hall and its gardens are roughly twenty minutes away. You can be in Derby city centre in half an hour if you need shops or the train station.
Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
