Acer Lodge is in Willington, Derbyshire. It's a detached modern lodge. It's in a quiet spot on the edge of the Mercia Marina, so you look out over the water.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan. The terrace goes around two sides. You can sit out there and watch the boats.
The marina has a place called The Boardwalk with a few shops and a bar and restaurant. It's a five minute walk from the lodge.
For a day out, the Peak District is about a twenty minute drive. Bakewell and Ashbourne are nice market towns. Chatsworth is roughly half an hour away. There are several National Trust places within easy reach, like Kedleston Hall and Calke Abbey. The National Memorial Arboretum is about fifteen minutes by car.
Alton Towers is a thirty minute drive if that's your sort of thing.
As for the lodge itself, it's well-equipped. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. All bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We can provide a cot and highchair.
