Rosemary Lodge

Rosemary Lodge is on the Mercia Marina in Willington. It's a detached, Nordic-style lodge. It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms. One has a king-size bed, the other has two singles.

The main room is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area, and living space. Big French doors open onto a veranda which looks out over a lake. It's quiet here. You see a lot of birds.

The place has a 4 Star rating. It's well equipped, with things like a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You can bring one dog. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.

The Marina itself is big, about 74 acres. You can walk to a few cafes, a restaurant, a deli, and a shop from the lodge in a couple of minutes. There's also a row of small boutique shops along the boardwalk. It's nice to walk around and look at the boats.

For a proper pub, you'd need to go into Willington village. It's about a ten-minute walk.

If you want to get out, the Peak District is close. Bakewell and Ashbourne are both within a 30-minute drive. There are also several National Trust places nearby, like Kedleston Hall and Calke Abbey.

The Willington Wetlands nature reserve is just the other side of the village. They've reintroduced beavers there.
