Walnut Lodge is a holiday lodge at Mercia Marina in Willington. It's detached and sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
The lodge faces south and has a raised veranda overlooking a lawn. It's an open-plan layout inside. The stairs are fine, but it's designed to be wheelchair accessible at the entrance, with grab rails in the shower room.
You're right on the marina, which is a big inland one. There's a promenade called The Boardwalk with a few shops and a two-storey bar and restaurant. Good for watching the boats.
The location is handy. You're out in the countryside but close to the A38. The Peak District is about a 30-minute drive. Bakewell and Ashbourne are the main market towns there. Closer by, you've got National Trust places like Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall within 20 minutes. Chatsworth House is about 40 minutes away.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside.
