Olive Lodge is near Melbourne in Derbyshire. It's a single-storey lodge, set back from the road in its own bit of woodland. You turn off the lane up a private track to get to it.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's quite handy if you're a group. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd need.
The main living area is all open plan. Big kitchen with an island, dining space, and the sitting area with a wood burner. The doors fold right back onto a decked patio if the weather's good. The main bedroom has its own balcony off it. The view is just trees and fields.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in Melbourne village. The pub does food.
For things to do, Melbourne Hall and its gardens are right there. For a longer walk, Staunton Harold Reservoir is close by. The Peak District is about a 30-minute drive north, so you can be in Ashbourne or near Dovedale without too much trouble. Chatsworth House is maybe 40 minutes.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside. The whole place is on one level with no steps at the entrance, so it's accessible. No pets allowed.
