This is No.1 Meynell Mews in Breedon on the Hill. It's one of three cottages that are joined together on the village high street.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well put together. The place was done up not long ago.
There's a small patio garden with a table and chairs. You can park right outside the cottage.
The village pub is literally two minutes walk away, just over the road. They do food. The shop is a five minute walk. Breedon church is up on the hill, you can see it from the cottage. It's old and the views from there are good.
You're about a 15 minute drive from East Midlands Airport, so you do hear planes sometimes. It's not constant, but it's there.
Local places: Melbourne is a nice market town about ten minutes away. Lots of places to eat. Ashby de la Zouch is about the same drive, has the ruins of the castle there. For a big day out, Calke Abbey is a National Trust place 20 minutes away. The Peak District starts about half an hour's drive to the west. You can be in Bakewell or at Chatsworth House in roughly 40 minutes if the traffic is alright.
If you're bringing bikes, there's storage. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi is included. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
