This is No.1 Meynell Mews in Breedon on the Hill. It's one of three cottages converted from old stables, all Grade II listed. They sit right in the village.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up nicely, everything works, and it's comfortable. Being an old building, the floors aren't level in places, which is normal.
There's a pub about 100 yards away. They do food. The village shop is a five-minute walk. East Midlands Airport is about a 15-minute drive, which is handy for picking people up or dropping them off.
For days out, Melbourne is a ten-minute drive. It has good cafes and a few interesting shops. Ashby-de-la-Zouch is about 15 minutes away, with its castle and a decent high street.
Calke Abbey is National Trust and it's close. The house is fascinating, and the parkland is huge for walks. Donington Park racing circuit is nearby if that's your thing. The edge of the Peak District is roughly half an hour's drive, so you can get to places like Chatsworth or Bakewell within a day.
As for facilities, it has a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. The garden is yours to use. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
