The Jolly is a house on a terraced street in a quiet bit of Whitstable. It's semi-detached, so you share one wall with the neighbour. The rating's 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's not huge, but it's fine for four.
You've got two bedrooms upstairs. Both have double beds and they get a good amount of light. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The stairs are standard for a house like this.
Downstairs is all open plan: kitchen, dining area, and living space. It feels spacious enough. French doors open out to a small, enclosed courtyard garden. It's a nice spot to sit out if the sun's on it. There's parking for one car right outside.
In terms of stuff, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. They leave beach towels too, which is handy. You can bring up to two dogs.
Location wise, you're about a 20 minute walk from the harbour and the main part of Whitstable. There's a local shop and a pub a few minutes away. The pub does food. The coast path is easily accessible if you want a proper walk along the beach.
Canterbury is about a 15 minute drive. The cathedral's the main draw, but the city centre is good for a wander. Herne Bay is along the coast in the other direction, maybe 10 minutes by car. You can get the train to London from Whitstable station, it takes about an hour and a half.
For planning days out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here. Visit Canterbury has official information on the city.
