Riverbank Cottage

Riverbank Cottage is in Kirkby Stephen. It sits right on the River Eden, next to an old packhorse bridge. You can see the river and the Howgill Fells from the windows. Sometimes ducks come by.

It's a one bedroom place, good for two people. It's detached so you're on your own. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a shower, parking, and Wi-Fi. We put up Christmas decorations if you're staying over that period.

The town is a couple of minutes' walk up the lane. There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. Kirkby Stephen is on the Coast to Coast walking route.

You're in the Eden Valley, between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. The Settle to Carlisle railway is two miles away. For a day out, Ullswater is about 25 miles. You can get boats there. Windermere and Ambleside are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes by car over Kirkstone Pass.

The cottage accepts one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
