Belah Barn
Belah Barn is near South Stainmore. It's a proper detached stone barn, converted. You're up on a hill, so the views all around are very good. You can see the Eden Valley and the Pennines.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite showers. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well equipped and comfortable. It's upside down, which is common round here. The living room and kitchen are upstairs to get the views. The bedrooms are downstairs. There's a small study area upstairs too if you need to work.
The stairs are fine. There's an enclosed gravel area outside with a table and chairs. It's not a lawn, but it's a good spot to sit. The parking is right there.
You're out in the country. The nearest shop and pub are in Kirkby Stephen, about seven miles away. It's a quiet market town. The barn is between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Both are about a 20 to 30 minute drive, depending on which bit you're heading for. For walkers, it's a brilliant spot. You can be on the Coast to Coast path very quickly.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs. There's a cot, highchair and stairgate if you're bringing little ones.
