Bluebell Barn's in Newbiggin on Lune, up in Cumbria. It’s a barn conversion. The village is quiet, the main thing you'll get is fields and that Eden Valley landscape. It’s about a 30 minute drive to get into the Lake District proper from here.
The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. There’s a woodburner for when it gets cold. The stairs are fairly steep, it’s that sort of barn. It’s got a 4 Star rating so it’s comfortable and well looked after.
There's parking right outside for a couple of cars. The garden is yours to use, it’s a decent size. Inside, you’ve got a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are too. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The nearest pub is about a mile away, in Ravenstonedale. They do food. For a shop, you’d drive to Kirkby Stephen. That’s five miles. It’s a proper little market town with supermarkets, some cafes, and a few shops. There’s a 9-hole golf course in Ravenstonedale as well.
You’re really here for the location. You’re on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District. So you have two National Parks to pick from for a day out. For walks, you can head straight out from the door onto local footpaths.
