Nuthatch

Nuthatch is in Soulby, which is up in the Eden Valley. It used to be railway workers' accommodation, part of a small working farm. We extended and renovated it in 2022.

It's detached and all on one floor. Sleeps two. One bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

You get your own garden. It's sunny and private. There's parking right outside.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cold nights. It has WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.

The location is quiet. You're on the edge of the new Westmorland Dales, which is part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Kirkby Stephen is about two and a half miles away. That's where you'll find a shop, a couple of pubs, and a restaurant. The Coast to Coast path goes through the town, and it has a station on the Settle-Carlisle railway line.

Appleby-in-Westmorland is nine miles. It has a castle, a swimming pool, and its famous horse fair. The Lake District is about a thirty minute drive west. The Yorkshire Dales are about the same to the east.
