Nuthatch

Nuthatch is in Soulby. It's a small cottage on the farm here. It was a railway worker's place originally. We extended it a couple of years ago. It's detached and all on one level.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom is off the bedroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. There's a woodburner for cooler nights. The layout is open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining area is all one space.

You've got a private garden. It gets the sun. It's quite sheltered. There's parking right outside.

The farm is up the valley, so the views are good. You're on the edge of the Westmorland Dales, which is the new bit of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Kirkby Stephen is about two and a half miles. There's a shop and a pub there. The Coast to Coast path goes through the town, and you can get the Settle to Carlisle train from there.

Appleby-in-Westmorland is about nine miles. They've got a swimming pool and the castle. The famous horse fair is there. For the Lake District, you can be at the eastern fells in under half an hour. Ullswater is about half an hour's drive.

Facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and towels and bedding are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The parking is on site.
