Stallion Barn
Stallion Barn is on the edge of Crosby Garrett, which is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a detached barn conversion we've just finished renovating. It looks out over fields. Quiet spot.
The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. Everything is new, so it's clean and works properly.
There's a little village shop and post office in the village. For more choice, Kirkby Stephen is about four miles away. It's got shops, a Co-op, pubs and places to eat. Penrith and Kendal are both around twenty miles, if you need bigger shops or a cinema.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door. The lanes are quiet. For a specific walk, Yorkshire Dales National Park has route ideas. Smardale Nature Reserve is close by if you like that sort of thing.
The Lakes are within about 45 minutes' drive. That's Windermere, Keswick, places like that. The Settle to Carlisle railway is nearby too, if you fancy a train trip.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for the colder months. Facilities are all listed, but the main ones are: parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a garden with a patio. You can bring one dog.
