Swallows Nest
Swallows Nest is a bungalow in Little Musgrave. It’s detached, so no one’s next door. You get four acres of land that go down to a small lake. The view from the main window is just trees and water.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s a 5 Star property, so everything’s high spec and very comfortable.
You’re down a quiet lane here. It’s quiet. A lot of wildlife comes to the lake. There are a couple of benches outside if you want to sit and watch.
The nearest shop and pub are in Kirkby Stephen, about three miles away. It’s a proper market town with butchers and a Co-op. The Pennine Way goes through it.
You’re well placed for getting about. The Lake District is about 40 minutes’ drive. Same for the Yorkshire Dales. The Settle to Carlisle train line runs through Kirkby Stephen station if you fancy a scenic trip without driving.
Inside, it’s got what you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, good wifi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
