The Granary
The Granary is part of a farm conversion in Bleatarn. It’s our place, next to where we live. The views from here are good, you can see the Pennines all around.
It’s an apartment on the ground and first floor. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after. The main living area is open plan.
It’s quiet here. You’re in the Eden Valley, roughly between three big areas: the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the North Pennines. They’re all within about a 30 minute drive for getting into the proper hills. The local lanes are good for cycling.
Kirkby Stephen is five miles one way. It’s a proper market town with shops and pubs. Appleby is five miles the other way, it has a leisure centre. The nearest pub is about three miles.
Inside, you’ve got the things you’ll probably need. There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV. Bedding is included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you’ve got small children. You can bring one dog. There’s parking right outside.
