Platinum
Platinum is a static caravan on a site near Newton Stewart. It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional.
It's detached, which is good. The decking is enclosed, so it's private and safe for dogs. You can sit out there. Inside is open plan. The living area leads straight out to the deck.
The site is quiet and family-run. It's about a ten minute walk into Newton Stewart town centre. The town has shops, a couple of supermarkets, cafes and pubs. You can get what you need.
The main thing here is the location for getting outside. You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. It's a huge area for walking and cycling. It's also a Dark Sky Park, so if you're into stargazing it's very good on a clear night. The Forestry and Land Scotland site has trail maps.
The coast is about twenty minutes drive. Port William and Isle of Whithorn are small fishing villages. They're nice for a wander and some fish and chips. Wigtown, Scotland's book town, is about fifteen minutes away. It's full of bookshops if that's your thing.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, a washing machine, parking right by the caravan. Bedding and towels are included. The site allows up to two pets.
