Victoria Apartments - Galloway
This is the Galloway apartment, part of the Victoria Apartments block in Newton Stewart. It's a one-bedroom flat for two people. It got a full refurb in 2022, so everything's fresh.
It's on the main street. You're above the shops, so it's central. You can walk to the supermarket, cafés, and a few pubs from the door.
The living space is open-plan. The bedroom is a good size with a double bed. The shower room is modern. There's a washing machine if you need it. WiFi and TV are included, and the bedding and towels are provided.
Newton Stewart is a handy little town. It's called the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, which is fair. You're about 20 minutes by car from the Galloway Forest Park. It's a Dark Sky Park, good for stargazing if the weather's clear.
The coast is about a 15-20 minute drive. Places like Portpatrick are pretty. There's the RSPB Mull of Galloway nature reserve further down the peninsula if you like birdwatching.
If you're into mountain biking, the 7Stanes trails at Kirroughtree and Glentrool are nearby. There are local golf courses too. The beach at Sandhead is the closest, about a 14-mile drive.
This apartment can be booked with the other two in the same block if you're coming with more people.
