Creebank is a detached cottage in Newton Stewart. It's on the edge of the town, right by the River Cree. The view from the main living room is the big thing here. There are full height windows looking straight out over the river and the bridge.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and one family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
You've got two living rooms, which is useful if people want to do different things. There's a dining kitchen and a small enclosed courtyard outside that gets the evening sun. It backs right onto the riverbank.
The town centre is about two or three minutes walk. There's a good choice of shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and some restaurants. Everything you need is close by.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. The Galloway Forest Park starts not far from here. It's a Dark Sky Park, so the stargazing can be amazing on a clear night. The 7Stanes mountain bike trails are nearby, including Kirroughtree. There's walking and cycling all around Glentrool as well.
The coast is about a 20 minute drive. You've got sandy beaches at places like Port William, and rocky coves all along the Machars peninsula.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
