The Hen Hoose
The Hen Hoose is a cottage near Newton Stewart in Dumfriesshire. It's compact and cosy, with low ceilings. It sleeps two.

You can walk straight from the door along the river. Newton Stewart is a few minutes' drive for shops, pubs, and places to eat. They have a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a golf course there.
The Galloway Forest Park starts a short drive away. It's good for walking and cycling. The coast isn't far either, with beaches and coves to explore. Fishing, horse riding, and sailing are all available locally.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and a highchair. You can store bicycles and there's parking right outside. The view is of the river.
