Park Crescent

Park Crescent is the end terrace cottage on our row in Creetown. It's granite, like all the houses here. We finished a full renovation inside in 2022, so it's fresh and modern now.

It's for two people. One bedroom with a king size bed, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living room is a good size. The garden at the back is enclosed and gets the sun in the afternoon. It's quiet out there.

Creetown is a small village on the Solway Firth. There's a shop and a butcher's. The Gem Rock Museum is here, which is interesting if you like that sort of thing. Newton Stewart is about seven miles away for bigger shops, a cinema, and more places to eat.

You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. It's massive, three hundred square miles of forest, hills, and lochs. Good for walks. The mountain bike trails at Kirroughtree are part of the 7Stanes and are very close. There are a few golf courses around here too.

The coast around this bit, the Machars, has some nice beaches and rugged coastline. The water is a bit warmer here because of the Gulf Stream.

For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. The entrance and the main rooms are all on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. There's parking. No pets, I'm afraid.
