Park Crescent

Park Crescent is a cottage in Creetown. It's an end-of-terrace place made from the local grey granite.

It sleeps two. One bedroom with a king-size bed, one bathroom with a shower. It has a 4 Star rating. It was renovated recently, so it's modern inside. It's all on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to worry about.

The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a fair bit of space, with a large lounge. The garden at the back is enclosed and private. You can sit out there.

Creetown is a small village. There's a shop about 200 yards away. The nearest pub, The Laird's Inn, is about a mile's walk. It's on the River Cree estuary, near the coast.

You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. It's a huge area for walking and cycling. The Kirroughtree trail centre for mountain biking is very close. There's local fishing too, and a golf course.

Newton Stewart is about seven miles west if you need more shops. The coast around here has some good sandy beaches. For a day out, you can drive to Whithorn to see the historic priory, or to Wigtown, which is Scotland's book town.

The Gem Rock Museum is in the village itself if that's your sort of thing.

Facilities: everything listed is there and included. WiFi, TV, bedding and towels. The entrance is step-free. Sorry, no pets.
