Little Cottage is in Wigtown. It's a semi-detached place, sleeps two, one bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a shower, not a bath. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two. There's a BBQ and space to put bikes.
The cottage is about 250 yards from the shop and a pub. The pub does food. The beach is a couple of miles away, at Garlieston. It's a mix of sand and rock pools.
Wigtown is the book town, so there are a lot of bookshops and a few cafes. There's a gallery and a plant nursery too. Bladnoch Distillery is just outside the town if you want a tour.
For walks, you've got the Wigtown Bay Local Nature Reserve right there. It's good for birdwatching. The Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park is about half an hour's drive inland if you're interested in stargazing. The 7 Stanes mountain biking trails are within easy reach if that's your thing. There's a golf course nearby.
Further out, within about half an hour, you can get to Portpatrick, or go walking in the hills around Glen Trool.
