River Cottage Bladnoch

River Cottage is in Bladnoch. It's a terraced cottage right across the road from the River Bladnoch. There's a kids' play park just over the road.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been updated inside, so it's comfortable but it's still a cottage. The wood burning stove in the lounge works well.

The garden is fully enclosed. It's good if you have dogs or kids. You can see open farmland from it. There's an outside tap for washing bikes or muddy boots.

It's a quiet spot in a row of houses. There's a country pub and restaurant a short walk away. Wigtown, the book town, is only a few minutes by car. Newton Stewart is close too, for shops and more places to eat.

You're well placed for getting out. The Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park is close by. Good for walking. For mountain biking, Glentrool and Kirroughtree and the 7Stanes trails are nearby. There are several golf courses around.

The coast is accessible. The Machars Peninsula has a mix of sandy beaches and rocky coves to explore, plus some interesting gardens. Good for birdwatching and fishing too.

In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. You can bring up to two pets. There's parking.
