Galloway Farmstay - Claunch
This is Claunch. It's on our working farm in Sorbie. It's a barn conversion we did a few years ago, sleeps four.
There are two bedrooms. One is a kingsize on the ground floor. The other is up on a mezzanine level with twin beds. The stairs up to that mezzanine are quite steep, just so you know. There's one bathroom, a wet room on the ground floor. The main living space is open plan.
Outside, there's a private garden area with a hot tub. It's a good spot, especially at night. There's very little light pollution here so you can see the stars properly.
You're a few miles from the coast. The beaches around here are good, they're sandy and often quiet. Garlieston and the Isle of Whithorn are nice little harbour villages to poke around.
Inland, you've got the Galloway Forest Park. It's massive, great for walking. If you're into mountain biking, the Kirroughtree 7Stanes trails are nearby. Wigtown is Scotland's book town, full of bookshops. Newton Stewart is the main local town for shops and places to eat.
If you want to arrange something like archery or clay shooting while you're here, you can ask Alistair. He's the one who runs that.

In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. It's a no-pets property.
