Peace
This is Peace. It's in Sorbie, down in Dumfriesshire. It's a countryside spot, part of an organic farm. You'll be on a farm track to get to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. You can bring one dog.
The place itself used to be a byre. It's one of two that are joined together, so you might hear neighbours sometimes, but it's generally very quiet. It's been done up nicely inside.
Outside, you're looking out at the Galloway hills. It's a proper farming area, they've got dairy cows and make cheese on site which you can buy from their farm shop.
The coast isn't far. You've got sandy beaches and a rugged coastline about a ten minute drive away. For a bigger beach day, you're within half an hour of a few good ones.
A shop is about a mile away for basics. The nearest pub is three miles. Whithorn and Wigtown are close, if you like history or books. Newton Stewart is the main town nearby, about a twenty minute drive. It has shops, places to eat, a cinema and a swimming pool.
If you're walking or cycling, the Galloway Forest Park is on your doorstep. The Seven Stanes mountain biking trails are nearby too.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
