The Seaview Snug
The Seaview Snug is on our farm, near Whithorn. It's a pod, built for two people. There's one bedroom and a bathroom. It's detached and you have your own parking spot and a private patio.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything's new. The main thing is the view. The front is almost all window, so you look straight out over Wigtown Bay. You can sit inside and watch the water. The patio has a hot tub facing the same way.
It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and hear the usual farm noises. It's quiet, but not silent. The stars at night are very good because there's not much light around here.
You're about five minutes in the car from the Isle of Whithorn. It's a small harbour village with a pub and a tea room. Wigtown, the book town, is close by. Newton Stewart has bigger shops and is about a twenty minute drive.
The coast is good for walking. There are beaches like Sandhead and Portpatrick. The RSPB reserve at the Mull of Galloway is about forty minutes south. Inland, the Galloway Forest Park is big and empty. The Kirroughtree mountain bike trails are there if that's your thing.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a kitchen with modern appliances, a living area, and the bedroom with an en-suite shower. Everything is on one level. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
