Shore Cottage
This is Shore Cottage. It's a small stone cottage in Garlieston, right by the sea.
It sleeps two people in one bedroom. There's one bathroom. You can bring one dog. It has a 4 Star rating.
The garden is enclosed. It’s just a few steps from Rigg Bay beach, which is sandy and quiet. You can see the water from the front.
There’s a wood burning stove for chilly evenings. It has a washing machine, TV, and Wi-Fi. Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included.
The village has a shop and a pub about a mile away.
You can walk straight from the door along the shore or through the woods. Galloway House Gardens are nearby, which are nice in spring. Further out, within about a 30 minute drive, you can get to Wigtown, which is full of bookshops, or the harbour villages like Isle of Whithorn. The mountain bike trails at the 7Stanes are inland.
