Quiet
This is the Quiet. It's one of two cottages next to each other on an organic farm near Sorbie, just outside Newton Stewart. The location is very quiet, down a decent farm track. You look out over the fields and the Galloway hills.
It's for two people only. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. WiFi is included. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can bring one dog.
It's a working farm. They have dairy cows and a shop where they sell their own cheese. You can walk around part of the farm.
The coast is about ten minutes away by car. There are some good sandy beaches and rocky bits. The Galloway Forest Park is a short drive for walking. If you mountain bike, the 7stanes trails are close by.
Wigtown, the book town, is about fifteen minutes away. Whithorn has the historic priory. Newton Stewart is the nearest proper town for shops, a couple of pubs, and a supermarket. It has a swimming pool and a cinema.
