Culpee House is in Newton Stewart. It's a detached house, so no one's next door. You've got the whole place.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-kept.
The house is on a quiet lane right next to the River Cree. The garden is gated. It's a good spot just to sit.
You can walk into town. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about 500 yards away. The coast is about five miles off.
You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. It's a Dark Sky Park, so if it's clear at night, the stars are good. The Wood of Cree nature reserve is close too.
If you're into mountain biking, the 7stanes trails at Kirroughtree and Glentrool are right here. There's plenty of fishing, walking, and some good local golf courses.
For a day out, Castle Douglas is known for food. Kirkcudbright is an artists' town. Both are about a half hour drive.
On facilities, it's got the usual: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage and parking on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
Just to note, the entrance is wheelchair accessible, but inside it's all on one level so that should work alright for most people.
