Cairnsmore
Cairnsmore is a first floor apartment in Newton Stewart. It's in a building called Victoria Apartments, right on the main street. It was refurbished in 2021, so it's fresh and clean.
It sleeps three. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan, with the kitchen and dining space together. The windows look out over the street, so you get a view of the town going about its business.
Newton Stewart is a small market town. It's got all the usual shops, a few pubs, cafes, and places to eat. It's a good spot because you've got everything you need on the doorstep, but you're right on the edge of the Galloway Hills. The Galloway Forest Park and the Dark Sky Park are a short drive away if you want proper countryside or to look at the stars.
You're about half an hour from the coast. Places like Portpatrick are good for a walk. The RSPB Mull of Galloway is down that way if you like birds. There's also the Logan Botanical Gardens, which are worth a trip.
If you're into mountain biking, the 7Stanes trails at Kirroughtree are very close. There's local fishing and a few golf courses around too.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and a cot if you need one. Bedding and towels are included. You can book it together with another apartment in the same building called Merrick if you've got a bigger group.
