Low Cordorcan Penninghame

Low Cordorcan is a semi-detached cottage in Penninghame. It’s part of a conversion, next to the owner's house. You’ll see us around the garden, but your own patio bit is private.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so comfortable and well equipped. It’s all on one floor, no stairs.

The main thing here is the garden, which is big and peaceful, and the fact you're right on the edge of the RSPB Wood of Cree reserve. You walk out of the gate and you're basically in ancient woodland. It's good for birdwatching. There’s a viewing platform by the river where people often see otters.

You’re five miles from Newton Stewart. It’s got shops and places to eat. The nearest pub is about the same distance.

For getting out, the Galloway Forest Park and Dark Skies Park are close by. If you’re into mountain biking, the Kirroughtree 7Stanes trails aren’t far. There are a few local golf courses. The coast with beaches and villages is about half an hour’s drive, towards the Machars.

Facilities wise, it has a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There’s bike storage. No pets.
