Peppy
This is Peppy. It's a caravan on a site just outside Newton Stewart. The site is quiet and family run. The town centre is a ten minute walk down the lane.
It sleeps six. There's a double room and two twins. Two bathrooms, both with showers. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The living area is all one space, with the kitchen at the end. The decking is enclosed, which is handy if you have dogs.
You can bring up to two pets. There's parking right next to the caravan. Bedding is included. There's a TV and the electricity is part of the price.
Newton Stewart has the basics: a Co-op, a couple of pubs that do food, some cafes. It's a good base. The Galloway Forest Park starts not far from here. It's a huge area for walking or cycling. It's also a Dark Sky Park, so if it's a clear night you can see a lot of stars.
Within about half an hour you can get to the coast at places like Port William. The beach at Sandhead is good for a walk. Wigtown, which is full of bookshops, is about fifteen minutes away. There's fishing on the River Cree if that's your thing, and a few golf courses around.
