Tredegar is a lodge on Creebridge park, just outside Newton Stewart. It's detached, so no neighbours through the walls. You get a patio with a table and chairs. It's quiet here.
It sleeps four. There's one bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower. The other two beds are in an open plan area upstairs. There's also a family bathroom with a bath. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a TV, parking right outside, and bedding is included.
You can bring two dogs. There's no enclosed garden, just the patio, so you'd need to walk them on a lead.
Newton Stewart town centre is about a ten minute walk. There are shops, a couple of cafes, and a pub. The River Cree is there if you fancy some fishing.
You're right on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. The walking and cycling trails are excellent. It's a Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night the stars are something else.
Within half an hour you can drive down to the coast at places like Port William. Sandhead has a good beach. Wigtown, the book town, is about twenty minutes away. There are several golf courses nearby if that's your thing.
