Shire
Shire is one of three cottages here in Cribyn, on my land. It’s a converted stone barn. The front garden is yours, and it looks out over the river. The bigger grounds are shared with the other cottages.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's all been done to a high standard. Everything is new. One of the bathrooms has a freestanding bath.
Downstairs is open plan: kitchen, dining table, sofa area. There's a wood burner. The kitchen is handmade. There's a utility room with a dishwasher.
Outside there's a wooden hot tub you can use, which is wood-fired. The garden is enclosed. There’s parking right next to the cottage.
You can bring up to two dogs. All bedding and towels are provided.
The nearest place for a shop is Lampeter, about a ten minute drive. They've got supermarkets, a good butcher, and some cafes. Aberaeron is fifteen minutes the other way, on the coast. Nice harbour, good places to eat. The coastal path there is worth walking.
You're not far from the sea. New Quay and Cei Bach beaches are within twenty minutes. For a walk inland, the Cambrian Mountains are right there.
