The Old Cowsheds 1, Dairy, is one of three conversions on the site. It's near Cribyn, between Lampeter and Aberaeron. The buildings are old stone, converted about ten years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a family bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and everything works as it should. There's underfloor heating downstairs.
You get your own enclosed patio out the back with a table, chairs, and a gas barbecue. The shared grounds are about eight acres with a river running along the bottom. It's very quiet.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area all in one room upstairs. The stairs are a spiral staircase, which some people like and some don't. It's fine, just worth knowing.
Lampeter is about ten minutes away by car. It's got supermarkets, a few takeaways, and the usual shops. Aberaeron on the coast is about twenty minutes. It's a nice little harbour town with coloured houses, good fish and chips, and a decent walk along the front.
From Aberaeron you can walk the coastal path towards New Quay. You might see dolphins from the cliffs. The National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate is nearby if you like historic houses and gardens. For walking routes, Visit Wales has good information.
You're close to the Ceredigion coast. Beaches like Cei Bach, New Quay, and Tresaith are all within a half hour drive. It's good countryside for cycling if you bring bikes.
Facilities included are all the basics: WiFi, a Smart TV, washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. The other two cottages here can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
