White Park Cottage

White Park Cottage is over at Hulme End, on Broad Ecton Farm. It's a converted barn, the bigger one of two here. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms.

It's open plan downstairs. Kitchen, living area, dining table, all in one room. There's underfloor heating which is good when it's cold. One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor, up a couple of steps. It's got its own shower room. Upstairs there are two more doubles and a family bathroom.

You're right in the middle of walking country. The Manifold Valley is just over the hill. You can walk out the door and be on a trail without using the car.

The nearest proper village is Hartington, a few miles away. It's got a famous cheese shop. You can get on the Tissington Trail or the High Peak Trail from there. Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell are all within about half an hour if you want a market town. Chatsworth House is about the same drive. Alton Towers is also close if that's your thing.

The place has a hot tub. There's a patio and garden, and a barbecue. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.

There's another cottage here called Swaledale. The two can be connected inside with interconnecting doors, and the gardens link up too, so you can book both for a bigger group.
