With a bubbling hot tub awaiting your arrival, Forget-me-Not Lodge is perfect for couples or friends who want to spoil themselves for a relaxing holiday or a well-deserved short break. it is located on Felmoor Country Park in the heart of Northumberland, close to the stunning Heritage coast with miles of golden sandy beaches and yet in a wonderful country setting. Forget-me-Not Lodge has been carefully designed inside to provide maximum comfort for up to four adults with two bathrooms and two king size bedrooms. The glorious, large, wraparound decked area offers varied sitting areas and catches the sun from morning to night. To the rear in a secluded position is the sunken hot tub, ready and waiting for you, with ample seating and tables where you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing on your holiday.
With a large, open plan living area and fully fitted kitchen area the décor is purposely done to give you that feeling of home with a touch of extra luxury. In the evening enjoy Sky Sports or Netflix provided for you. One of the king size bedrooms has an en-suite shower room with a walk in wardrobe and Smart TV, and the main bathroom has a bath with a shower over. There is also a boot room at the side entrance which is a useful place for wiping muddy paws and leaving walking boots.
This lovely country park offers relaxation with a lovely walk around the lake where you can spot a family of roe deer around the fields and lake. You may also spot a red squirrel, plenty of rabbits, geese, and the family of swans. Onsite you will find a friendly pub/café/restaurant with regular entertainment and games room and only a 2-minute walk from your lodge.
Located in the heart of Northumberland just north of the historic town of Morpeth which is popular with locals having plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and a lovely Edwardian Arcade to meander through, lovely at Christmas time. Located by the A1 you have easy access to Alnwick which is only a ten-minute drive, where the Duke of Northumberland still resides in part of the majestic castle, famous for some of the scenes of Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. The location here is perfect for travelling in all directions to explore this friendly, diverse county where you can be assured of a warm Geordie welcome.
