Roselyn-By-The-Sea

Roselyn-By-The-Sea is only a three-minute walk to the beach and long flat promenade which stretches along the seafront in this friendly seaside village. Perfect for dog walkers and nature lovers alike and with excellent opportunities for dolphin spotting, as well as sea birds, whales, and seals. The famous steel and bronze sculpture ’The Couple’, by Sean Henry, can also be seen along the bay. This spacious home-from-home is immaculately presented throughout with a spacious living room with a feature electric wood burner and a large kitchen/dining area with French doors opening on to the enclosed rear yard where you can sit out and relax after a day out exploring this fabulous area of Northumberland. There is a large understairs utility cupboard with freezer, dog gate and other useful items. The main bedroom is a spacious king size room with an additional dressing area, alongside a pleasantly decorated sunny twin room.

Roselyn-By-The-Sea is a wonderful holiday home to spend time with your family and friends, or for couples to relax and unwind from everyday life. Nearby is a local bus stop where you can hop on a bus to reach more lovely towns and villages. Newbiggin still has a few fishing boats, and the lifeboat station is one of the oldest in England. The beach sweeps around the bay with Church Point at one end with a lovely cliff-top walk looking over the sea, the promenade is almost a mile long so enjoy a nice flat stroll on an evening or in the mornings to blow away the cobwebs.

Set in the centre of the promenade is a wonderful Italian ice cream parlour, popular with locals and visitors, set on the piazza where you may be lucky to see live music on the bandstand in the summer. The village has all you will need with an excellent bakery, takeaways, pubs, fruit shop, fish and chips, and a good size supermarket to stock up on your favourite foods.

Nearby Cresswell and Druridge Bay have miles of unspoilt coast waiting to be explored, then head north onto the Heritage Coast and discover the castles and villages that make Northumberland special, day trips can be taken in all directions! Paddle boarding hire and boat trips are available from Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
