Alnwick is only 4 miles with the majestic castle featured in Harry Potter, cobbled streets and lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Fishing is nearby at Swarland and Thrunton with Horse Riding only 4 miles. Head North up to Bamburgh with the cliff top castle used in many films or onto Holy Island steeped in history, or perhaps a trip inland over the national park to Kielder water or Hadrian’s Wall.
