This unique former Presbyterian church has lots of space for family gatherings, an ideal place for sharing some special times with friends too. A Grade II listed building built in the early 1800s, oozing character and charm throughout. A small café is in the village and does a fabulous breakfast, popular with cyclists and bikers in the summer, and it’s the last café before you enter Scotland. The borders are 12 miles away so it’s so easy to visit Scotland too whilst staying here.
The coast is only 38 miles away where you can head further north and follow all the Heritage coastal routes. Hadrian’s Wall is hugely popular with all age groups where you can discover more about the Emperor Hadrian and how the Romans lived way back in 117AD. The wall took 14 years to build and is the largest structure built by the Romans stretching 70 miles.
