The Wee Thistle

Very conveniently situated in the heart of the historic Border town of Jedburgh, on the High Street above a chocolate shop, this small, comfortable, first floor apartment is an ideal base for a couple. A car is not necessary to enjoy a holiday here as there are bus links throughout the Borders area, and Jedburgh itself has much of interest, with the awe inspiring Abbey, Mary Queen of Scots Visitor Centre and the Castle Jail all within easy walking distance. There are good independent food shops, cafés, gift shops, a swimming pool and lovely walks along the River Tweed to enjoy. Melrose and Kelso also have ancient abbeys and interesting galleries and craft shops, along with magnificent Floors Castle and Mellerstain House. Good hillwalking, fishing and golf can be found locally, with quiet roads and cycle paths to explore. Shop 155 yards, pub and restaurant 110 yards.
