A tasteful holiday home for up to six people in four bedrooms. High Shaftoe has a stunning garden to the rear of almost an acre. With varied seating areas and a beautiful pond to relax around. There is even an onsite observatory with electric and water to sit and star gaze in this gorgeous dark sky area bring along your telescope or binoculars. With ample space for couples or families, High Shaftoe is bright and airy, tastefully decorated throughout to offer a cosy and very comfortable holiday experience. The large farmhouse kitchen has been completely renovated in 2021 providing plenty of space to sit and share a special meal and make new memories to cherish back home. One of only three properties on site with commanding views over the countryside but set only a mile from the road you feel like you are out in the country, yet you can be in a pub or restaurant in just a few minutes.
Situated only 3 miles north of the picturesque village of Belsay with a lovely little village shop, Belsay Hall and Gardens are only 5 miles while the pretty historic market town of Morpeth is only 14 miles with a fabulous choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Nearby Ponteland has some nice upmarket stores, restaurants and cafes. The start of the beautiful and unspoilt heritage coastline is only 40 minutes where a day exploring the many castles and golden sandy beaches can be enjoyed. Visit Alnwick and the famous castle used in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, only 27 miles.
