Farne View (Was 8 Middleton Cottages)

This charming holiday cottage has been lovingly restored by its owner and boasts comfortable accommodation for five guests, as well as easy access to some of the region’s most popular attractions. Only a few miles from perhaps Northumberland’s most dramatic stretch of coast, Farne View Cottages is also within easy driving distance of the historic towns of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick. Whilst the border town of Berwick is known as ‘the last town in England’, Alnwick is famous for its historic castle ruins and cobbled walkways. This part of the country draws visitors from far and wide to savour its natural landscape with walking, cycling and bird-watching just some of the outdoor activities in the area. Historic locations also feature prominently as both Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne’s Holy Island are easily accessible by car. Nature lovers will want to make a bee-line for the Farne Islands to see the famous puffin colonies. Shop, pub and restaurant 1. 2 miles.
