The Old Grain Mill

When people mention unique properties, they’re usually a fairly ordinary house with some sort of unique element to it. The Old Grain Mill is one which definitely fits the truly unique element. Once the main local grain mill, this property has been painstakingly converted into one of the most remarkable residences in the area.
The lower 4 floors offer one of the most unique experiences for groups or families looking to have a break away in luxury with real space in which to enjoy yourselves. Absolutely no expense has been spared in the refurbishment of this property and as you wander through spome of the property’s 12000 sq. ft space you’ll notice features that will undoubtably impress you.
Whether it be a "nod" to the original mill with some of the original wheels retained and displayed in the wine cellar in an almost "museum like" way or the attention to detail in the bespoke designed dining room ceiling, perhaps the fact that all bedrooms have Super king size beds and Nespresso machines and en suites Maybe it’ll be the full-size snooker table on the lower ground floor with the special chill out room just next to it, maybe you’re the person who likes to serve the drinks and will be impressed with the bar area in the main entrance room. Some of the best things about this property are still to be discovered.
Outside the list goes on. The BBQ area and Swedish Sauna are both private and enjoy a riverside setting where the sound of the water and the birds in the trees is beyond tranquil. The area is popular as a seaside location and nearby St Abbs has one of the World’s premier diving locations.
