Converted from farm buildings in the late 1990’s, this beautiful cottage welcomes guests to a stay beside the glorious unspoilt beaches of Budle Bay. The cottage has a good-sized garden on two levels with views across the bay to Lindisfarne. The large patio offers the option of outside dining, and a charcoal barbecue is available for guests to use.
The master bedroom has a fabulous super king size bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a bedroom with twin beds, and a third bedroom that can either be set up as a twin room or a super king double. The living room is comfortable with two sofas, an upright armchair and floor cushions plus a window seat. Board games, and Netflix and Amazon. The spacious kitchen has a dining table for six people and is a great place to share dinner after a busy day at the beach or sight-seeing.
The real plus point about this cottage is the fact that you have just 550 yards walk from the front door down to the sea. From there you walk along wonderful sandy beaches for as far as your legs can carry you! There are lots of historic and family orientated things to do in the area. Bayside Cottage is just one mile from Bamburgh village which has pubs, restaurants, and a few small shops. Seahouses is about 4 miles away and has wider choice of shops and amenities. A car is very useful to make the most of this location, although there are buses that operate up and down the coast with a bus stop about 40 yards from the front door. Beach 550 yards.
