Wheelers Bay View comfortably sleeps four guests, the main bedroom sleeps two and showcases a Feather and Black Designer Guilds King size bedstead with luxurious 100% Cotton ’Christy’ bedding. Sea views can be enjoyed from here. The second bedroom also sleeps two in a super king zip and link bed with 3000 pocket sprung mattress and luxurious 100% Cotton ’Christy bedding, which can also be converted into 2 x 3ft single beds. Please specify your bed configuration upon booking.
There is a separate dining room and outside patio for al fresco dining and BBQ’s. We welcome our guests with open arms so a unique complimentary selection of food essentials will be provided upon your arrival including tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, cake, bread, butter, cereals, orange juice, bilk and a bottle of bubbly. Wheelers Bay View is within walking distance of the quaint seaside town of Ventnor which offers a butcher, a bakery, a fruit and veg shop and plenty of nice coffee shops. It is also within walking distance to the Ventnor beach and esplanade. Ventnor is a charming Victorian town with a Mediterranean feel and many local attractions. Perched on the southern more sheltered tip of the Isle of Wight, Ventnor is one of the sunniest spots on the Isle of Wight and is renowned for its own unique tropical climate. With its elegant promenades, wild beaches, blustery downs and rolling hills. Ventnor mixes beautiful landscapes with old-fashioned English charm. You will spot red squirrels in the forests, and Mediterranean plants flourish amongst the plunging hills of Ventnor and the Undercliff. The eclectic mix of shops in the town rounds off a perfect holiday destination.
Ventnor is renowned for its bustling arts scene with the Isle of Wight’s award-winning Ventnor Fringe Festival that takes place every summer, and the Ventnor Botanical Gardens which has over 23 acres of wide-open spaces containing rare, subtropical plants and trees which flourish in the unique micro climate enjoyed on the south coast of the island. Nearby attractions include Steephill Cove, Blackgang Chine, the Donkey Sanctuary and the Botanic Gardens. Within driving distance is the seaside village of Shanklin with its award winning golden sandy beaches, quaint old village, wooded ravine, and Chine. Nearly half of the Isle of Wight is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the 800km of well-maintained footpaths make it a walker’s paradise. From the apartment, you can walk along the coastal path to Shanklin in one direction and to St Lawrence in the other.
