The Cottage

This hot tub retreat is situated in the picturesque village of Finghall, between the popular dales market towns of Leyburn and Bedale. Within a short stroll of the traditional village inn, serving good wholesome food and local ales, this makes a wonderful base from which to explore the many attractions, walks and cycle routes in Wensleydale. For those looking to explore the great outdoors, there are walks and cycle routes straight from the doorstep. Providing open plan living space with French doors opening out to the gravelled courtyard. With flexible sleeping options, making this perfect accommodation for friends, small families or couples.
With numerous attractions to visit, the bustling market town of Leyburn is just 5 miles with a host of interesting shops, restaurants and cafés all set around the market square and of course Friday is market day and a chance to snap up some of the gorgeous local produce. The Georgian market town of Bedale with its charming high street is 6 miles. There are numerous castles to visit and picture-postcard villages, beautiful scenery and rolling hills.
Nearby is the village of Middleham and its famous castle; enjoy the sights as the racehorses ride to and from the gallops each day or sit in the village square and enjoy a coffee as you watch the world go by. A little further, visit the stunning waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls or the market town of Hawes with its quirky shops and cafés and the famous Wensleydale Creamery. Within 30 minutes enjoy historic Richmond with its stunning castle and riverside walks, Masham, Ripon or try a day at Catterick Races.
