Ty Hir Bwlch Gwyn Farm Equestrian Centre

Ty Hir is at Bwlch Gwyn Farm, just outside Friog. It's a detached stone farmhouse, so you're not sharing walls with anyone.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which is comfortable and well-equipped. The layout is straightforward. It's a proper farmhouse.

You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The back of the property looks out over our fields. We've got alpacas and pygmy goats here on the farm. You can see them from the garden.

The big thing here is the location. You can walk straight from the farm down to Fairbourne beach. It's a gentle slope, takes about ten minutes. The sand is good for kids. You can also walk across the old railway bridge to Barmouth. It's a great spot.

If you ride, we run the equestrian centre here. You can book pony trekking. If you want to bring your own horse, we have holiday stabling you can arrange in advance.

In the house, it's set up for families. There's a stairgate, highchair, cot. The garden is enclosed. There's parking. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, a wood burner for the evenings. Bedding and towels are included.

The closest pub, shop, and a golf course are about three-quarters of a mile away in Friog. For bigger days out, you're well placed. The Snowdonia mountains are on your doorstep for walking. The Mawddach Estuary trail is brilliant for cycling. Zip World and Bounce Below are about a 45-minute drive away.

We allow up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed, so that helps.
