Felmoor Holiday Park - Two Hoots Lodge is in a quiet area of Felmoor Park, not far from the pretty little lake and with trees to one side; it is in a lovely location on the park. The modern interior, large TV and cosy wall-mounted fire all add to the visitor experience of some peace and quiet. This detached lodge is set on a 40-acre site amongst private woodlands with a selection of other lodges around the park. The large decking wraps to the side of the lodge, with seating areas in three places to catch the sun throughout the day. The park’s lawned area is ideal if you are bringing children along. Your furry friends are also warmly catered for in Two Hoots Lodge with doggy treats, bowls and blankets waiting for their arrival. The small on-site café and residents’ bar is a nice area to chat to other holidaymakers and is only a short walk from your lodge. Although there is no Wi-Fi in the lodge, it is available in the club house.
Nearby is the Northumberland County Zoo at Eshott which is lovely for the children to visit for a few hours. It’s a 2-minute drive from your lodge or a few minutes’ walk. The historic market towns of Morpeth, with its pretty riverside, and Alnwick, with its famous castle used in Harry Potter, are both nearby and have plenty of shops, cafés and pubs. The small village of Felton is only 2 miles away and has a friendly pub with good food, a post office, village shop and a highly acclaimed tearoom. The Heritage Coastline is only 5 miles to the east and has some of the most golden beaches and rugged coastline in England, offering a good choice of footpaths and cycle paths. Golf is available at Burgham Park, only a 2-minute drive, should you wish for a round whilst visiting. Felmoor Park is close to the A1, ensuring easy access in all directions for exploring Northumberland’s many visitor attractions, towns and villages. Shop and restaurant 3½ miles, pub 2½ miles, and café and bar on-site.
