Old Jail View
Old Jail View is on Daisy Lane. It's across the road from the old jail building, which is worth a look. That's how it got its name.
It's a two-bedroom cottage, sleeps four. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. Everything is on the ground floor once you're inside. It's been done up recently.
The lane outside is steep and cobbled. Just so you know. There's a little sitting area outside.
You're right in the middle of Holmfirth. Sid's Café is practically next door if you're a Last of the Summer Wine fan. The Picturedrome music venue is opposite. The town has some nice shops and walks along the river.
For a day out, the Peak District National Park is about a 15 minute drive. Holmfirth Vineyard is up the hill, maybe a five minute drive.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
