Huddersfield House, Wood View
Huddersfield House, Wood View is a detached house on a residential street on the edge of Huddersfield. It's quiet and the back looks out onto trees. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's well equipped and comfortable. Good amount of space for a group.
You're about a mile and a half from the town centre. You can walk it in half an hour, drive it in five minutes, or get the bus. Huddersfield's a proper market town, lots of shops and places to eat. There's Greenhead Park and Beaumont Park if you want some green space in town.
Right up the road is Longley Woods. There's a nature reserve and a Wellbeing Trail you can walk. The Castle Hill monument is about a mile away. The views from there are really something. You can see for miles.
If you want to go further, Holmfirth and the start of the Peak District are about fifteen minutes drive. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is under half an hour. Marsden Moor is great for longer walks.
For facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, towels and bedding are included. All the utilities are covered. No pets, I'm afraid.
