Huddersfield House, Wood View
Huddersfield House, Wood View is a detached house in a quiet bit of Huddersfield. It's about a mile and a half from the town centre. Sleeps eight, five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
There's off-road parking for a couple of cars. The garden is decent sized and fully enclosed. Inside, the main living area is open plan. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are provided.
You're a short walk up the road from Longley Woods Nature Reserve. They've got a Wellbeing Trail there if you fancy that sort of thing. You can walk into Huddersfield town centre in about half an hour, or it's a few minutes in the car. All the shops, pubs, and restaurants are there.
Castle Hill is very close, maybe a mile away. The views from up there are excellent on a clear day. Greenhead Park and Beaumont Park in town are both good for a stroll.
Within about a half hour drive, you've got a few options. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is worth a trip. You can walk up on Marsden Moor from the National Trust car park. Holmfirth is about fifteen minutes away, and that's where you start getting into the Peak District.
